The E-commerce for Farmers Program has stra-tegic partnerships with both the government and private sector to bridge the digital divide of one of the most marginalized sector categorically identified as farmer and fisherfolks.

Link Biz Portal

The Link Biz Portal (LBP) is crea-ted by both Landbank of the Philippines and PhilPaCS to pro-vide a One-stop shop payment window to all merchants of Landbank of the Philippines (LBP). LBP is the "Official Depo-sitory Bank of the Philippine Government" and owned 100% by the Republic of the Philippines. LBP collects on behalf of all National Government Agencies (NGAs), all Local Government Units (LGUs), Government-Owned and Controlled Corpo-rations (GOCCs), State University and Colleges (SUCs), Cooperatives (Coops) and other public and private companies.

PhilPaCS remittance initiative is to allow citizens and payors to pay their government and private sector obligations even if they do not have internet access, bank accounts, or even when not internet savvy. PhilPaCS created an Agents Suite that connects to both the Link Biz Portal through a payment gateway with an Auto Debit Arrangement (ADA) and to the bank account of the Agents in LBP. The main focus of the Agent Suite are the 21 foreign remittance tie ups of Landbank Remittance Co for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and domestic remittance through "brick and mortar" companies like pawnshops, payment centers, convenience stores, and commercial kiosk.

The PhilPaCS -NSDL joint Venture is a collaboration with the NSDL of India who has developed and implemented various eGOV solutions that are applicable in the Philippine setting. The initial joint venture aims to participate in the up and coming National ID bid and provide a central eKYC solution to the 100M Filipino people as a financial inclusion tool to the “unbanked” yet bankable individuals. The part-nership shall provide a re-liable, cost effective, expedient and ease of use for subscribing banks and financial institutions to know their customer ( KYC ) as required by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
